Welcome to the new Burton News website which has been re-written to look like the printed version. The differences being the addition of some colour and no adverts. Personal information such as addresses and phone numbers are removed (same as in the old site).

Navigation is much simpler with links to the individual pages so it will read much the same as the printed copy too.

Those of you with screen readers will be aware that the pages are now graphics but there are text pop-up boxes for each article, event etc so pop-ups need to be allowed to access these. Place the mouse cursor over the article and click - there is also a tool-tip to tell you which article or event you have moused over.

Note that there isn't any specific 'hot spot' on the articles, anywhere over them is close enough!

Access to the old site is still available through the Archives as are the previous months of the new site as they are added. Currently the months from December 2006 and August 2007 are missing These will be added as time permits - probably one per month.
