Due to a worm going about that is sending messages to guest books which bypass the image verification step the Guestbook is temporarily off-line until a non-vulnerable one is found.
Sorry for any inconvenience

Hey, great site! My parents own Shoemakers cottage at the top of Neddy Hill, and I have been visiting Burton-in-Kendal since I was about 7, although not so often recently, unfortunately!! It's nice to be able to keep in touch with whats going on in the village from my home in Staffordshire. Great job!

ur police report is a joke
"its impressive how observant members of the public report 'suspicious looking vehicles'"
u mean they got nothin betta 2 do than to stare out windows nd stick their noses in thinkin they're doing something good.

Read the Police News for August 2006 Mr/Ms/Miss Anonymous on an AOL connection (at least you were to send your illiterate comment).

We are looking to complete the Lancaster to Kendal Canal Walk and would be looking to stay in Burton-In-Kendal for a half-way break...Is The Kings Arms the best place to stay?
Regards
Mark & Alex
Webmaster:
Either that or the Dutton Arms, depending on who has rooms :-)
